The 5 Best Dressings, Darling

Olivia Wilde supposedly shared her infamous salad dressing recipe, and it's only three ingredients: Grey Poupon, red wine vinegar, and olive oil. Sounds pretty easy. I haven't tried it myself, but i will.

The thing about me is I love a sauce, a dip, a salad dressing. Slather it on, please, and extra on the side.

Here are the best ones. This is a definitive list. Argue amongst yourselves, if you must.

Ranch Dressing from The Habit

Ranch dressing/dip itself is top tier. In my high school days, I put ranch dressing on everything: pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, sandwiches, chicken, etc. I vibe with the ranch dressings/dips at most establishments, but I’ve landed on The Habit with the best right now. It’s not too thick, not too watery, and seasoned to perfection.

Vegan Creamy Dill Dressing from Trader Joe’s

This dressing is creamy, flavorful, and will make any salad 10 times better. I stumbled upon this at the store, and it’s one of my favorite Trader Joe’s buys this year.

Honey Mustard Poppyseed Dressing from Red Robin

First off, I haven’t had this dressing in years, but my memory tells me that it is absolutely delicious. I was introduced to it via the Crispy Chicken Salad, and is sweet, tangy, and SO good on the fried chicken.

The Spread from In-N-Out

My In-N-Out order always includes extra spread. And if I’m getting my fries animal style, I’m getting spread on the side. Is it just thousand island dressing? Probably. But it’s yummy.

Every Sauce/Dip from Chick Fil A

My guess is that the most popular sauces are the Chick Fil A and Polynesian sauces. My personal favorites are the Honey Mustard, Barbecue, and Sweet and Spicy Sriracha. Is it even possible to eat Chick Fil A without the sauce? I vote no.

What sauce/dressing is your favorite?
